Challenge:

Our challenge with this roof was to quickly replace the hail damaged shingles quickly for the homeowner, who had other projects planned on his home.

Solution:

Using our communications systems, we were able to prioritize this project and meet the needs of our homeowner. We tore off the old shingles that had been dented in a storm, then installed new roofing felt and Ice & Water barrier to meet local building code. The homeowner selected one of the highest quality of shingles: the Owens Corning Duration in Teak. Our first step was with the starter shingles, which some roofers consider an option but one we insist upon. Starter shingles help waterproof the eaves of the house, and prevent a channel from forming when overlapping shingle rows. We nailed the new shingles down and also put in a ridge vent to help increase the home’s ventilation.

Finally, since the previous gutters were damaged and unsightly, we installed seamless aluminum gutters in White.
