Eden Prairie Home Deals with Storm Damage

Challenge:

Damaged by a recent storm, the challenge with this Eden Prairie home was to repair and replace all the damaged shingles on the roof to prevent future leaks. Their insurance agent referred them to Trinity Exteriors as a trusted contractor, and we got to work.

Solution:

The resident’s property is very important to us, so we took extra precautions by covering the windows and landscaping to avoid and possibility of debris damaging these. We began with the tear off and inspecting the roof decking to ensure it was within local code. We then laid down two rows of Owens Corning Weatherlock Ice & Water barrier, which features a self-sealing barrier to prevent water migration. We then installed Owens Corning Flex shingles in Estate Gray as well as replacing any vents that were damaged in the storm. The Owens Corning Flex shingle is a class 4 shingle, which can give you a 10%-20% discount on your insurance premium!
