Hail Storm Damage Totals $1 Billion

The June 11, 2017 storm that hit the area’s North Metro—Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Blaine—is proving to be one of the most expensive storms in Minnesota in 20 years.
Even at the time of this post, more than two months have gone by and damage from hail can still be seen by holes in vinyl siding, and exterior construction is nonstop in nearly every neighborhood.
With such a large amount of work, projects can be delayed weeks. But homeowners should still have regular communication with their contractors. The most common complaints we’ve received from Blaine and Coon Rapids residents is they haven’t heard from their contractor in several weeks, or their contractors are giving faulty excuses—such as siding matching or other product issues—delaying construction for more than 6 to 8 weeks. This may indicate a contractor has oversold or overextended themselves on work. If there is anything within the restoration process making you uncomfortable, our team of Claims Specialists and Restoration Consultants can take the time to answer any of your questions.
If you know of someone who lives in Blaine, Coon Rapids, Lino Lakes, or the surrounding Metro areas who hasn’t had their storm inspection yet, or if you have heard someone having difficulty with their contractor, have them call 1-952-260-0522 or schedule a free inspection at https://www.trinityexteriors.com/free-estimate
